Happy 4th Anniversary Pastor Maverick & First Lady Rhonda Scott!

On yesterday, our very own Soror Rhonda Scott and her husband, Pastor Maverick of Lincoln Street Baptist Church, celebrated their 4th anniversary! It was no less than a joyous occasion where church members, family, friends, and Sorors came together during their morning worship service to honor the heads of this ministerial home.

Decorated in green and gold, the sanctuary and surrounding facilities gave attendees the opportunity to feel the joy, love, and 'family' surrounding them. Contributions were made by those on program. However, their very special guest speaker, and our Soror, Elder Utrena Johnson, spoke passionately to and over this union. Have a listen.

#BeyondEta matters because Sorors set ablaze their own trails in a world of routine ways of life. This occasion was a 360 degree experience of love and sisterhood on display. This example of sororal support shows why it is important for our sisterhood to continue to grow and experience in-person gatherings that further perpetuate what it means to have unconditional love and acceptance.

We are celebrating across our Sorority and we are reminded that milestones like this are only ones that God can give, blessing upon blessing. Many congratulations to Soror Scott a.k.a. Cover G.I.R.L., Soror and Elder Utrena Johnson a.k.a. Mane Event, and Soror Kayla Symone Price a.k.a. Prime Time of National Line Kappa! Keep setting the standard in Kingdom-excellence!
